Beef Steak
How to cook perfect steak:
First put the pan on the stove and turn on fire. Make it Hot. We are going to sear the steak and not boil it. We need to make sure to take the beef out of the fridge 30 minutes earlier otherwise it will over cooked out side and stoned cold inside.
How to seasoning it:
To season it put salt and pepper according to taste. You can also add garlic powder. It will make the steak taste better. Then mop them up. Make sure to put the seasoning both side.
Put the steak on the pan:
When Pan start smoking put some olive oil in it (you can also use canola or grapeseed oil) and spread it in all around the pan. Now put the steak flat on the pan. If one side is up you are going to get an uneven sear and it is going to cook unevenly. So press the steak down and get a nice even sear across the entire steak. After about 30 seconds turn it over. Sear the side fat cap for about 30-45 seconds. Then turn the steak every minute to get a nice color.
Add garlic, butter and thyme:
Now put some lightly crashed garlic in it. That gives a nice flavor. After that you can add thyme or rosemary. It's time to put some butter and it will completely change the taste of the steak. Tilt the pan back sprinkle that melted butter all over the steak. After 5-8 minute your delicious steak is ready!
